YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU THIS SATURDAY

We are very proud that our club was selected as one of the few clubs in the area to be given a grant to host a NatWest RugbyForce weekend celebration on 24th and 25th June. Now in its fifth year, this community initiative run in partnership between NatWest and England Rugby help clubs across country attract new members and to become stronger and more sustainable businesses.  You can read more at http://www.englandrugby.com/governance/club-support/natwest-rugbyforce/

To make the most of the event we have built on it by creating a Club Day for this Saturday, 24 June :

  • at 8.30am the British Lions play the All Blacks. Breakfast will be available and the match will be screened in the club
  • at 10.30am we are be looking for volunteers to help with maintenance work in the clubhouse and grounds. We are looking for teams of decorators, grass cutters, strimmers and gardeners to help improve the appearance of the club
  • at 2.30pm the bar will open and a BBQ will be provided for those who have helped on the day.

We appreciate it’s a busy time of year for everyone but many hands make light work. If you can spare a few hours please get in touch so we can get a feel for numbers. Remember, many hands make light work!

Thank you
