The first team do not have a game on Saturday, and our 2nd team were due to host Harrogate but they have been required to play a postponed League fixture.  The only fixture we have been able to get for the 2nds is away at Pocklington.

Hull Ionians are unable to raise a side to travel to play the scheduled 3rd team fixture at Driffield.  However, they are able to raise a side at home to play our 4th team, and we are honouring that fixture.

Even though there is no longer a home fixture we will still be putting on pie and peas to give club members, and those now not able to get a game, to meet up and have a beer, and watch some or all of the Six Nations final day’s games.  Lunch will be available from 14.00-17.00 and cost £8 for pie, chips and peas.  It will help Helen Sunderland plan catering if you could let her know if you are going to bring a coach-load : (01377) 256598 or drufc@aol.com

With England already Six Nations champions, they have the opportunity to get back-to-back Grand Slams, and also beat the All Blacks’ record of consecutive unbeaten games.  Four teams are in the contest for mid-table positions.  Kick-off times are :

  • 12:30 Scotland v. Italy
  • 14:45 France v. Wales
  • 17:00 Ireland v. England
