Plans for this have changed, as demand for tables was not high enough to create a great atmosphere for a catered 3-course lunch for the Bank Holiday weekend, to join the Harrison family to commemorate the enormous contribution John made to the Club made over very many years.

Instead, in view of the good weather that is forecast we are holding a barbecue to help us make the most of the weather.  So, the event will now be :

  • Club open from 12.30
  • A £5 charge will be made, to go to the Yorkshire Cancer Research charity
  • Barbecue available from 13.00 : £5 for beefburger, sausage and chicken drumstick with a salad bar in the club
  • Tables will be laid up in the club house or you can eat al fresco
  • O2 Touch Rugby will be played before the main game
  • An Agrics ‘15’ will play The Rest at 14.30
  • A party atmosphere will be encouraged by Dominic Thompson’s sound system – he has offered to sing Karaoke in return for suitable donations to charity.

No need to book – we will cater for 150, and hope that many of you will be able to come to the Club.  We hope that enough will be able to come to help us raise £1,000 for the charity.

For the young at heart, there will also be the Laser Beams event at the Full Measure in the evening.
