The 1st XV welcome Scunthorpe – see the match programme here.

A Warm welcome to Scunthorpe RUFC for our Regional 1 North East league fixture. Once again we will a have full clubhouse before the game for our fantastic pre-match lunch, and im sure a full house of supporters too.

Scunthorpe arrive facing a bit of relegation fight, currently sitting second bottom, they have the one win the season, that was at home when Ilkley make the journey to Scunthorpe, Winning 31-29. Scunthorpe have gained 5 Try bonus points & 4 Losing bonus points, and looking through their results you can see why, they seem to score quite well, and have lost most of their home games by a small margin. Our match early in the season was a tight affair until Scunthorpe received a red card, after that it was one way traffic, we ran away in the second half winning 55-31 by Full time.

Last week we managed to claim a draw, at half time we had been looking at a decent loss to Sandal, another red card to Sandal seemed to energise the Driffield 15, by full time we left disappointed not to win, but a draw & 3 point is better than a loss. The performance was not what the team or their supporters expect from Driffield, hopefully they wil be back to top gear on Saturday.

The 2nd XV also welcome Scunthorpe.

There is no game for the 3rd XV.

The 4th XV travel to Scunthorpe hoping to continue their excellent season.
